For this week's Squee Spree versus we have two exotic, squeedorable predators! First we have the Bearcat (aka Binturong) from south-east Asia, which strangely enough is neither a bear, nor a cat. Second is the carnivorous Fossa, from Madagascar, member of the mongoose family. Which makes you squee?

Like many animals the bearcat uses scent glands to leave scent markings as a way to communicate with each other. What is special about the bearcat though, is its scent has often been compared to the smell of warm, buttered popcorn. Squeelicious or disqueesting?

Hanging out with friends and sharing inside jokes is one of those small yet satisfying joys in life. Seems like these bearcats get the idea.

The submitter says, "Very very hot otters in the Paris zoo. So cute. So hot." but I'm pretty sure they're binturongs!

The Binturong is part bear, part cat, and all squee! Nah, just kidding, they're not bears nor cats, but are in fact closely related to civets.
