jmbhobbit55 says This is Mowgli (the dog) and his adopted big sister Pickles! Mowgli's mom died, so we had to find a foster mommy for him. Pickles' mom, Morning Star, gladly took him in!
The BBC writes,
"A young red deer has joined a flock of sheep on the Suffolk coast and seems to have been adopted. The deer appears to have lost his herd and joined 100 sheep, which graze on National Trust land at Dunwich Heath and Orford Ness in Suffolk. Andrew Capell, the flock's shepherd, said: 'They seem to have accepted him as one of their own.'"
Now that is some real life interspecies love!
ladyjoker92 says Chase was adopted from an animal shelter and he had a pretty rough start to life, once we had him he was constantly hyper and a bit of a hellion. One day at a pet store some women came in dropped a 6 week old kitten at our feet and left so of course we brought him home. Chase immediately adopted the little fella as his own and has now calmed down immensely.
SimplySissy says: "These are my rescued kiddos. Sookie (left) is three years old, and Tucker (right) is barely one. Tucker loves to snuggle and Sookie lovingly cleans Tucker's face every morning, just like a mom with her puppy. To me, my kids are the squeest! Adopt, don't shop!"
Every furr-parent thinks their babies are the squeest, but you just might be right!
