An Australian zoologist took in the pair of brand new baby emus fearing for their safety. They seem to get along surprisingly well with their new foster brother, a baby kangaroo named Rueben.
This lucky penguin made the journey from the back of a truck, past cars and dangerous dogs into the arms of local Peruvian police. After an uncertain first confrontation he was taken back to the police station, fed fish and affectionately named Pingui. He is on his way to a penguin habitat in northern Peru where he will be safe and happy.
